Spence Porter  (Founder & Artistic Director)

Spence Porter is a playwright with 17 productions to his credit.  He loves using puppets and masks and dancers and onstage musicians and doing pretty much everything that people keep telling him not to do.

​

Before founding the Autumn Garden Society, Spence was the New York City Chapter Head of Harvardwood, Harvard's officially recognized organization for the Arts, Media, and Entertainment.  Before that, he was the Program Chair at the Harvard Club of New York City, where he also created the In the Arts Group for Harvard Club members working professionally in the Arts.
