Mark Malkoff: "Love Johnny Carson"

For an astonishing THIRTY years, from 1962 to 1992, Johnny Carson was late night television. Carson hosted some 4,500 broadcasts of The Tonight Show, interviewed more than 25,000 guests, and for years was the highest paid performer on television.

And, first with The Carson Podcast, and now with his book Love Johnny Carson, comedian Mark Malkoff has tried to learn everything he could about Carson's life, character, and career. Malkoff has interviewed more than 400 people who knew, worked with, and were influenced by Carson, and has written a book that every fan of Johnny Carson and everyone interested in the history of late night television will want to read. This will be a fascinating evening--and a lot of fun!

The evening will begin at 7 pm with a  WHITE WINE AND CHEESE RECEPTION in the National Opera Center's CHARLES MACKAY STUDIO, with the talk starting promptly at 7:20 pm.

Love Johnny Carson will be available for purchase at the Reception and after the event.
