Angelica Page (known earlier in her career as Angelica Torn) is a writer, director, producer, and, most of all, an actress of extraordinary gifts. She has appeared in 19 movies, including Nobody’s Fool, The Sixth Sense, The Contender, and Lucky Days which she also wrote, and which won the CIFF Best Feature Award and Worldfest Gold Award. Her television performances have been seen on CBS, NBC, ABC, TNT, Showtime, and HBO. Her long long list of theater performances includes Anna Christie, Edge (“Scintillatingly tremendous portrayal… superb” London Evening Standard), The Best Man, August: Osage County ("Revelatory" Chicago Tribune), and Turning Page, a play about her mother, which she wrote and starred in. Her performance in Side Man earned her a Helen Hayes Award for Best Actress.

Angelica Page is the daughter of actor Rip Torn and of Geraldine Page, one of the greatest and most loved actresses of her era, the winner of an Academy Award (The Trip to Bountiful) and two Golden Globes, and a four time Tony Award nominee (Sweet Bird of Youth, Absurd Person Singular, Agnes of God, and Blithe Spirit). She starred in Summer and Smoke both onstage and on the screen. And she had seven additional Academy Award nominations--!!

Angelica Page will talk about her own life and career, about her father Rip Torn, and especially about her mother, the luminous and unforgettable Geraldine Page.

Foster Hirsch, Professor of Film at Brooklyn College and the author of 16 books on film and theater, will be the interviewer. 

The doors will open at 6:30 pm, and the interview is scheduled for 6:50 pm.
